Risk status and ledger records belong in the same workspace
Category: Risk & Ledger
Payment status is not enough for a finance-grade platform. Operators also need to know why a payment is available, pending, blocked, refunded, converted, or waiting for additional information.
Risk state and ledger state should move together. Screening results, KYT status, buyer or wallet checks, webhook payloads, approval records, local holds, and double-entry postings all describe the same operating event from different angles.
When these records are separated, support sees one story, finance sees another, and operations has to manually bridge the gap. A PSP platform should instead show the status, evidence, and accounting impact in one place.
Oceafin uses this principle across merchant balances, payouts, crypto movement, refunds, conversion, and internal operations. The goal is not just fast payment movement. The goal is payment movement that can be explained.
